What the committee will question

No life or work outside India, at the most border-crossing programme on your list

Your file states it plainly: never lived or worked abroad, two holidays, and daily video calls with a claims operations team in Leeds. This programme runs across Fontainebleau and Singapore with a class of a thousand, and the record notes a large Indian cohort where differentiation in the engineer pool is the whole game, so a reader will ask whether remote client calls predict adaptability in person. The risk is not that you are rejected for this alone; it is that you blend into the queue of Indian engineers who also say they worked with global teams.

Mitigation required. In the essay and the interview, treat the four years with the UK insurer as operating experience and not as a line item: name the requirement-gathering sessions with the Leeds claims operations team, one norm or working assumption of theirs that you had to adjust to, and the decision you changed because of it. On the application form, state your campus preference and your position on languages honestly, and if you are studying one, name it and the level; verify what the school asks on this point before you submit rather than guessing.

Mitigation required. Rebuild the goal in Goals Credibility so the switch reads as one step rather than two: you are already inside B2B payments software, so target product roles in payments infrastructure, bank integrations and reconciliation, where your 22 integration guides and your work on the multi-entity reconciliation module are the qualification. In the essay, name the kind of company and the kind of product, and say what you can do on day one that a generalist cannot; before you apply, speak to graduates who entered product without a prior product title and verify how they bridged it.
